1. Method for aromatizing an alicyclic region of a cannabinoid, wherein an oxidizing agent is added to the cannabinoid, wherein sulfur is used as the oxidizing agent, wherein the cannabinoid is converted to a cannabinol and the cannabinol is CBN-5 and/or CBN-C3.
