1. A system for moving cargo over a surface, the cargo having an underside, a front end, a rear end, a longitudinal cargo length (CL) and a cargo height (CH), the system comprising:
a hauler comprising an operator cab and a hitching element reciprocally moveable in a vertical direction between a lower position and a raised position;
a front engagement device affixed to the underside of the cargo and slightly rearward of the cargo front end, the front engagement device configured to be operably engaged to the hitching element;
a rear roller unit affixed to the underside of the cargo slightly forward of the cargo rear end to allow raising of the cargo front end, the rear roller unit comprises a rear frame and one or more rollers affixed to the rear frame; and
one or more spaced apart pallets affixed in stationary relationship to the underside of the cargo;
wherein, when the hitching element engages the front engagement device and is in the lower position, each of the pallets contacts the surface; and
when the hitching element engages the front engagement device and is in the raised position, the cargo front end is elevated above the cargo rear end, the pallets are spaced from the surface, and the one or more rollers are in rolling contact with the surface, thereby allowing the cargo to be easily moved.
