1. A fastening tool, comprising:
a housing with a top, bottom and sides, the housing extending longitudinally between a front and a rear;
a track chamber subassembly disposed along the bottom of the housing, the track chamber subassembly including a track, a track pull, and a pusher;
a striker disposed at the front of the housing including an upper striker position above the track and a lower striker position in front of the track;
the track including a closed operative track position and an open track position, the track being selectively latched to be retained in the closed operative track position, a track latch spring biasing the track to be latched, and the track extending rearward from the housing in the open track position;
a rear of the track being movable vertically within the track chamber as the track remains in a front position, a first vertical track position including the track engaging a detent of the track chamber, and a second vertical track position wherein the track is moved to disengage the dent;
a track pull pivotally attached to the rear of the track, the track pull including a normal position relative to the track, the track pull rotating from the normal position to a pivoted track pull position when the track pull is pulled rearward, and the track pull, when pulled to the pivoted track pull position, causes the track to move vertically within the track chamber to de-latch the track from the closed operative track position to a track de-latched position; and
the track is movable horizontally rearward from the track de-latched position to the open track position.
