1. An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus comprising:
a touch panel monitor;
a palm rest that supports a hand when a touch operation is performed on the touch panel monitor, the palm rest including a bar having a portion that extends parallel to and is separated from a side of a housing of the touch panel monitor;
a controller that controls display of the touch panel monitor; and
a detector that detects a supported state when the hand of the user is supported by the palm rest,
wherein when the detector detects the supported state, the controller displays icons in an aggregated state at a position that is reachable a user's hand supported by the palm rest.
