1. A method performed by a central unit (CU) node, the method comprising:
receiving, by the CU node, from a distributed unit (DU) node, a DU configuration message including configuration information about a cell in the DU node;
modifying, by the CU node, information of a cell served by the DU node in a CU node based on the DU configuration message for updating; and
transmitting, by the CU node, to the DU node, a DU configuration response message,
wherein the configuration information includes an identifier of the cell and time division duplex (TDD) configuration information corresponding to the identifier of the cell,
wherein, the CU node serves a radio resource control (RRC) protocol and packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) protocol, and
wherein the DU node serves a radio link control (RLC) layer, a medium access control (MAC) layer, and a physical (PHY) layer.
