1. A system comprising:
an isolation board is configured at a first position;
an insulator is configured at a second position, wherein the insulator is configured to encapsulate the isolation board, wherein the isolation board provides reactances that are tuned to deliver maximum power from a radio within an electricity meter, and configured to present an impedance of fifty-ohm to the radio; and
an antenna, having an impedance different from the impedance of the isolation board, is positioned at a predetermined distance from the isolation board to eliminate ripples in a coaxial cable generated from reflected power from the antenna, wherein the antenna receives the maximum power delivered from the isolation board.
