1. An object recognition device, comprising:
a memory storing instructions; and
at least one hardware processor configured to execute the instructions to implement:
a temporary setting unit configured to set, based on specifications of a sensor that has detected an object, a position of at least one candidate point on the object; and
an update processing unit configured to correct a position of a detection point with respect to the sensor at a time when the sensor has detected the object based on the position of the at least one candidate point on the object, and to update track data indicating a track of the object based on a position of the detection point with respect to the sensor after the correction,
wherein the temporary setting unit is configured to set the position of the at least one candidate point on the object based on resolution included in the specifications of the sensor that has detected the object, and the resolution includes angle resolution and distance resolution.
