1. A method comprising:
receiving a request to write host data of a host system, to a memory device of a memory sub-system;
generating redundancy metadata associated with the host data;
determining, based on data, obtained from a data structure associated with the memory sub-system, that corresponds to the host data, at least a first status associated with the host data;
updating the redundancy metadata associated with the host data to indicate at least the first status associated with the host data; and
performing a memory access operation to write the host data and the updated redundancy metadata to the memory device.
