1. A clothes treatment apparatus comprising:
a cabinet;
a treatment chamber located inside the cabinet and configured to receive clothes;
a cycle chamber located below the treatment chamber and inside the cabinet;
a tank module frame located below the treatment chamber and forward of the cycle chamber, the tank module frame defining a tank installation space;
a steam unit located in the cycle chamber and configured to supply steam to the treatment chamber; and
a water supply tank detachably received in the tank installation space and defining a storage space configured to receive water and supply the water to the steam unit, the water supply tank being configured to store the water to generate a first amount of steam for performing a plurality of cycles of the clothes treatment apparatus,
wherein the water supply tank comprises:
a tank body that defines the storage space, the tank body defining a check valve hole at a lower side of the tank body,
a check valve disposed at the check valve hole,
a float located inside the water supply tank and configured to move up and down based on a water level of the water in the storage space, and
a float cabinet located at a rear side of the tank body and configured to guide and restrict the up and down movement of the float based on the water level of the water in the storage space, the float cabinet having an upper end that is configured to restrict the up and down movement of the float at a minimum level of water that the water supply tank supplies to the steam unit to generate a second amount of steam for performing one cycle of the clothes treatment apparatus,
wherein the clothes treatment apparatus further comprises a detecting sensor located at a rear side of the tank module frame and configured to detect the float positioned at a detecting area,
wherein the detecting area includes an upper portion of the float cabinet that is disposed between a predetermined height of the float cabinet and the upper end of the float cabinet, the detecting area excluding a lower portion of the float cabinet below the predetermined height,
wherein a water level in the detecting area is defined based on an amount of water that the water supply tank supplies to the steam unit for performing one cycle of the clothes treatment apparatus, and
wherein the clothes treatment apparatus is configured to:
not initiate an operation of a cycle of the clothes treatment apparatus based on the detecting sensor failing to detect the float before the operation of the cycle (i) in a state in which the water supply tank is not mounted on the tank module frame and (ii) in a state in which the float is positioned at the lower portion of the float cabinet, and
continue to supply steam to the treatment chamber until the cycle is completed in a state in which the float has moved from the upper portion to the lower portion of the float cabinet during the operation of the cycle, the operation of the cycle including an operation of the steam unit.
