1. A two-sided absorbing and cooling textile, comprising:
an absorbent side adapted to absorb moisture from a skin surface and including a first yarn and a second yarn, the absorbent side having a plurality of raised loops; and
a cooling side adapted to transport the absorbed moisture from the absorbent side to expose the absorbed moisture to the cooling side for evaporation, the cooling side including the first yarn, the second yarn, an evaporative cooling yarn, and an elastomeric yarn;
wherein the cooling side does not include raised pile.
