1. A seating arrangement for an aircraft passenger cabin, comprising:
a passenger seat positioned at an oblique angle relative to an aircraft longitudinal axis;
a console positioned to one side of the passenger seat, the console tapering in a direction of a forward end of the console;
a footwell positioned forward of the passenger seat and spaced apart from the forward end of the console; and
a meal table assembly including a support arm and a meal table attached to the support arm;
wherein:
the support arm is pivotally attached to the console proximate the forward end of the console;
the support arm extends from the console; and
the support arm is configured to rotate the meal table between a stowed position of the meal table in which a first portion of the meal table is positioned within the footwell and a second portion of the meal table is positioned in a space formed between the footwell and the forward end of the console, and a deployed position of the meal table in which each of the first and second portions of the meal table are positioned outside of the footwell.
