A golf putter head having a face positioned for striking a golf ball, said head comprising a support base made of metal material having an upper surface, said support base having a hosel receiver member, and stone attached to said support base with at least a portion of said stone on the face of said golf putter head in which said stone encloses substantially all of said support base.
