1. An apparatus, comprising:
a fire sprinkler system including at least one fire sprinkler and a fire pump to deliver water via the at least one fire sprinkler;
the fire sprinkler system having 1) a non-pumping mode of operation and 2) a plurality of pumping modes of operation, the fire sprinkler system to:
in a first pumping mode of operation of the plurality of pumping modes of operation, assert a pump run alarm coincident with pumping; and
in a second different pumping mode of operation of the plurality of pumping modes of pumping operation, do not assert the pump run alarm, or mask a signal of the pump run alarm, coincident with pumping;
wherein the pumping in the second pumping mode of operation is with the same fire pump used for the pumping in the first pumping mode of operation.
