sensing a location of a first drug delivery device;
determining entry of the first drug delivery device into an intestine using the location;
communicating, by the first drug delivery device, an authorization request seeking permission to activate the actuator to an external computer system upon determining entry of the first drug delivery device into the intestine;
receiving, by the first drug delivery device, an authorization from the external computer system; and
activating, by the logic circuit of the first drug delivery device, the actuator of the first drug delivery device to expose an interior of the capsule of the first drug delivery device to an exterior of the capsule in response to receipt of the authorization.
