1. A method for providing a collision model, the method comprising:
detecting an item of patient information that has information on a spatial placement of an entry point of a medical object into an object undergoing examination and information on alignment of the entry point of the medical object into the object undergoing examination, wherein the item of patient information is registered with a medical device that is movable;
detecting an item of object information that has an item of information on a geometry and spatial position of a manipulator for moving the medical object, wherein the manipulator comprises a motion device, a member of technical medical personnel, or the motion device and the member of technical medical personnel;
determining a relative placement of the manipulator in relation to the object undergoing examination based on the item of patient information and the item of object information; and
providing the collision model for the purpose of moving the medical device based on the relative placement and the item of object information.
