1. A method of treatment comprising:
inserting a shaft of a vapor delivery system into a urethra of a patient;
after inserting the shaft of the vapor delivery system, advancing a distal portion of the shaft toward a bladder neck of the patient;
measuring a distance between the bladder neck and a veru of the patient by:
moving the distal portion of the shaft proximally from the bladder neck to the veru; and
using a known field of view of a camera of the shaft or an endoscope of the shaft to calculate an amount by which the distal portion has moved;
after measuring the distance:
advancing the distal portion of the shaft distally; and
deploying a vapor delivery needle into a first location of a prostate of the patient.
