1. A communication method comprising;
transmitting information related to one or more random access channel (RACH) resources to a user equipment through radio resource control (RRC) signaling, the one or more RACH resources including information used for beam direction acquisition, different RACH resources mapped to each beam, and one or more RACH preambles being mapped on the one or more RACH resources based on Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM);
receiving one or more RACH preambles using the one or more RACH resources from the user equipment during a random access procedure; and
transmitting a random access response to the user equipment,
wherein at least one of the one or more random access preambles relates to at least one beam.
