1. A method performed by a wireless communication device, the method comprising:
receiving control information from a wireless communication node, wherein the control information includes at least one transmission parameter related to at least one transport block to be transmitted between the wireless communication device and the wireless communication node;
calculating a transport block size (TBS) for the at least one transport block based on the at least one transmission parameter;
determining a final TBS for the at least one transport block by selecting a TBS that is closest to the calculated TBS among a plurality of quantized TBSs; and
using the final TBS for transmissions between the wireless communication device and the wireless communication node.
