15. A method comprising:
communicating, by an electronic device, with a child device of the electronic device; and
when the electronic device has not synchronized to a parent device of the electronic device within a guard time period, exchanging synchronization data, by the electronic device, with the child device to enable the child device to be time synchronized to the electronic device before the electronic device is synchronized to the parent device.
