1. A device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the device to:
receive a request to access content;
determine based on data stored on the device associating each of a plurality of content with a corresponding blackout information server of a plurality of blackout information servers, that a blackout information server is associated with the content;
receive, from the blackout information server, a blackout condition associated with the content;
determine that the device satisfies the blackout condition associated with the content; and
output alternative content based on the device satisfying the blackout condition.
