1. A system for validating transfers between cryptographic addresses, the system comprising:
a plurality of distributed validation processors;
a plurality of distributed non-transient memories in communication with the plurality of distributed validation processors and storing instructions, that, when executed by the plurality of distributed validation processors, are configured to cause the system to:
receive instructions to transfer a first plurality of tokens from a first cryptographic address associated with a first user to a second cryptographic address associated with a second user;
select a portion of the plurality of distributed validation processors to validate the transfer, the selection based on one or more rules and the selection being made probabilistically such that a probability of a particular distributed validation processor being selected increases proportionally with an amount of tokens that are staked to the respective distributed validation processor;
validate the transfer with the portion of the plurality of distributed validation processors;
transfer the first plurality of tokens to the second cryptographic address associated with the second user;
responsive to transferring the first plurality of tokens to the second cryptographic address, transfer a second plurality of tokens to a first distributed validation processor of the plurality of distributed validation processors; and
after a predetermined period of time, transfer an amount greater than the second plurality of tokens to the first cryptographic address associated with the first user.
