1. A network adapter, comprising:
a host interface, to receive, from one or more hosts, packets for transmission to respective destinations over a network; and
a scheduler, to:
synchronize to a time-division schedule that is employed in the network, the time-division schedule specifying multiple time-slots, wherein a topology of the network alternates between the time-slots so that groups of the destinations are reachable during only some of the time-slots due to alternation of the topology; and
based on the time-division schedule, schedule transmission times of the packets to the network on time-slots during which the respective destinations of the packets are reachable,
wherein the host interface is to receive a packet from one of the hosts at a time at which a destination of the packet is not reachable, and the scheduler is to schedule a transmission time of the packet on a time-slot during which the destination is reachable.
