1. A circuit for a motor having multiple phases including first, second, and third phases, wherein the circuit is electrically connected to a first phase winding and a second phase winding of the motor, the circuit comprising:
a comparator having first and second inputs; and
a plurality of resistors connected between the motor and the comparator, the plurality of resistors comprising:
two or more first parallelly-connected resistors and two or more second parallelly-connected resistors, wherein the first parallelly-connected resistors are connected in series with the second parallelly-connected resistors, and the first parallelly-connected resistors and the second parallelly-connected resistors are connected between the first input of the comparator and the first phase winding of the motor, and
two or more third parallelly-connected resistors and two or more fourth parallelly-connected resistors, wherein the third parallelly-connected resistors are connected in series with the fourth parallelly-connected resistors, and the third parallelly-connected resistors and the fourth parallelly-connected resistors are connected between the second input of the comparator and the second phase winding of the motor.
