1. A system for mitigating induced currents in an electric motor having a shaft, the system comprising:
a brush holder having a handle end, the brush holder comprising:
a brush holder handle at the handle end;
a shaft grounding brush attached to the brush holder handle, the shaft grounding brush including a contact at a contact end of the brush holder, the contact end being opposite the handle end;
a brush holder extension attached to the brush holder handle, the brush holder extension extending between the handle end and the contact end, wherein the shaft grounding brush is disposed at least partially within the brush holder extension, and wherein the shaft grounding brush is removable from the brush holder handle by pulling the brush holder extension through the brush holder handle; and
an end bell of the electric motor, the end bell being configured to receive the contact end of the brush holder such that the contact of the shaft grounding brush is configured to contact the shaft.
