1. A valve assembly for a battery cover, the valve assembly comprising:
a valve cover having a base with an aperture in fluid communication with an internal chamber defined by a cylindrical projection coupled to the base;
a valve provided in the internal chamber;
a valve holder, with a holder cylindrical projection and a holder base, provided in the internal chamber; and
the holder cylindrical projection and the holder base having a side cutout.
