OG exemplary drawing

1. A Li-ion battery, comprising:
a cathode electrode;
an anode electrode, wherein the anode electrode is a high capacity anode having a Li capacity of at least 400 mAh/g and comprises silicon (Si);
an electrolyte ionically coupling the anode electrode and the cathode electrode; and
a separator electrically separating the anode electrode and the cathode electrode,
wherein the electrolyte comprises a solvent mixture and salts,
wherein the salts comprise a mixture of a first Li-comprising salt and a second salt,
wherein the first Li-comprising salt is LiPF6,
wherein the solvent mixture comprises fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) and at least another solvent, and
wherein the anode electrode comprises microporous and/or mesoporous particles comprising the Si.
