1. A method, comprising:
in response to identifying that a transport lacks sufficient priority to park at a parking space within a certain distance of a location hosting an event, maneuvering the transport to a drop-off area proximate to the location to drop off an occupant and assigning an initial parking space to the transport, wherein the initial parking space is located greater than the certain distance from the location;
maneuvering the transport to the initial parking space;
at a time before completion of the event, determining whether the parking space within the certain distance is available, wherein when the parking space is available, the method comprises:
maneuvering the transport to the parking space to park, and
in response to the completion of the event, maneuvering the transport to a location of a mobile device associated with the occupant.
