a gaming machine including a monetary input device configured to receive a physical item associated with a monetary value, a user interface, at least one processor running executable instructions related to a game of chance, a game display and memory in communication with said at least one processor;
at least one random number generator in communication with the processor;
wherein said at least one random number generator in communication with the processor generates random game outcomes; and
wherein a player may selectively delay the processor from utilizing results from the at least one RNG to change a future game outcome by interacting with the gaming machine.
