1. A game apparatus for facilitating a game of casino battleships between a dealer and at least one player, comprising:
a plurality of identical game grids comprising a dealer's game grid and at least one player's game grid, each one of the game grids having a plurality of predefined game positions, each predefined game position operatively associated with a unique identifier game grid code, the game grids having grid sensors operable to detect data relating to placement of tokens at each of the predefined game positions;
a game card scanner operable to detect data relating to selection of dealer-drawn game cards, each game card associated with a unique identifier game card code identical and corresponding to a game grid code for matching the drawn game card with a specific one of the predefined game positions;
at least one processor configured to communicate with at least one computing device over a communication network; and
a memory, in which the memory stores instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, direct the at least one processor to:
retrieve at least one rule set for playing and winning the game;
direct the grid sensors to determine the predefined game positions upon which the tokens have been placed;
direct the game card scanner to identify the game card code of each drawn game card;
mark as destroyed each predefined game position that matches with a drawn game card;
determine and identify on an output device, after all game cards have been drawn, which one of the dealer and the at least one player is winner of the game according to the at least one rule set.
