1. A method comprising:
at a device with one or more processors, non-transitory memory, and a touch-sensitive display:
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a first arrangement of text in which a first portion of the text has a first position with respect to a second portion of the text;
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a first representation of an annotation that is associated with the first portion of the text and the second portion of the text, wherein the first representation of the annotation has a positional relationship with the first and second portions of the text;
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a menu-triggering affordance;
in response to detecting a first user input directed to the menu-triggering affordance, displaying a menu that includes a text size decreasing affordance for decreasing a font size of the text, a text size increasing affordance for increasing the font size of the text and a font changing affordance for changing a font style for the text;
detecting a second user input directed to the text size decreasing affordance, the text size increasing affordance or the font changing affordance resulting in a particular font option and a request to rearrange the text based on the particular font option; and
in response to detecting the request to rearrange the text, concurrently displaying, on the touch-sensitive display:
a second arrangement of the text in which the first portion of the text has a second position with respect to the second portion of the text, wherein the second position is different from the first position, and wherein the second arrangement of text is based on the particular font option; and
a second representation of the annotation that is associated with the first portion of the text and the second portion of the text, wherein the second representation of the annotation is different from the first representation of the annotation, and wherein the second representation of the annotation maintains the positional relationship with the first and second portions of the text, and wherein the second representation of the annotation is based on the particular font option.
