1. A computer implemented method for adjusting an image, the method including:
displaying an editing user interface (UI), wherein the editing UI includes:
a preview region in which the image is displayed;
a first adjustment interface that can be used to adjust a value of a first image processing parameter for the image, wherein the first adjustment interface is a slider type interface that includes a first adjustment path and a first control that is moveable along the first adjustment path to adjust the value of the first image processing parameter, and wherein a first colour gradient is displayed along the first adjustment path, the first colour gradient being determined based on a first value of a second image processing parameter that has been set for the image; and
a first UI element, wherein the first UI element is distinct from the first adjustment interface and the image displayed in the preview region;
detecting a parameter adjustment that adjusts the first value of the second image processing parameter to a second value of the second image processing parameter; and
in response to detecting the parameter adjustment:
adjusting the image displayed in the preview region of the editing user interface according to the second value of the second image processing parameter;
determining a second colour gradient for the first adjustment path based on the second value of the second image processing parameter;
displaying the second colour gradient along the first adjustment path instead of the first colour gradient, and wherein
an appearance of the first UI element is not changed in response to detecting the parameter adjustment.
