1. A brace pipe attachment mechanism comprising:
an attachment device defining an attachment device body, the attachment device body comprising:
an inner surface defining a brace pipe channel, the inner surface defining a gripping edge at least partially encircling the brace pipe channel; and
a base portion, wherein a base fastener hole extends through the base portion to the brace pipe channel, wherein:
the attachment device body defines a closed loop structure and the inner surface fully encircles the brace pipe channel;
the closed loop structure defines an upper loop portion distal to the base portion;
and the gripping edge extends at least along the upper loop portion;
the closed loop structure further comprises a front loop portion extending between the base portion and the upper loop portion;
the closed loop structure further comprises a rear loop portion extending between the base portion and the upper loop portion opposite the front loop portion; and
the gripping edge extends at least partially along the front loop portion and the rear loop portion; and
the gripping edge extends substantially about a circumference of the inner surface from a first hole side of the base fastener hole to a second hole side of the base fastener hole; and
a fastener extending through the base fastener hole and into the brace pipe channel.
