1. A method of forming a blister pack configured to absorb or adsorb moisture therein, the method comprising:
adhering a moisture-absorbing or moisture-adsorbing desiccant entrained polymer film to a backing;
inserting a single pill, capsule, or tablet into a cavity formed in a thermoformed cover, the cavity including a dome portion and a base portion, at least a section of the base portion extending beyond the dome portion in a first direction, the dome portion extending beyond an outer peripheral portion of the cover in a second direction, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction; and
attaching the backing to the cover so that the moisture-absorbing or moisture-adsorbing desiccant entrained polymer film and the single pill, capsule, or tablet is enclosed in the cavity, the base portion being configured to receive at least a portion of the moisture-absorbing or moisture-adsorbing desiccant entrained polymer film therein wherein the base portion includes a top wall that extends parallel to the backing, and wherein an interior surface of the top wall is spaced-apart from the backing such that at least a portion of the moisture-absorbing or moisture-adsorbing desiccant entrained polymer film extends between the interior surface of the top wall of the base portion and the backing.
