1. A remote control system for an aircraft, comprising:
an aircraft, of the Magnus-effect type, comprising a cylinder extending along a longitudinal axis, the cylinder being able to rotate about the longitudinal axis;
a pair of rotatable elements, arranged at a distance from the aircraft;
a drive, arranged to drive a rotational movement of the pair of rotatable elements; and
a connection cable, arranged to connect the pair of rotatable elements to the cylinder of the aircraft so that the rotational movement of the pair of rotatable elements, driven by the drive, is mechanically transmitted to the cylinder of the aircraft so as to set the cylinder into rotation about the longitudinal axis.
