1. A percutaneous lead for spinal cord stimulation, comprising:
a body extending between a distal end and a proximal end;
at least one contact on the body positioned toward the distal end;
at least one anchor mounted on the body, the at least one anchor configured to extend between a retracted position and a deployed position to secure the percutaneous lead to tissue outside of an epidural space, wherein the at least one anchor is positioned between the at least one contact and the proximal end, and wherein the at least one anchor is spaced a distance away from the distal end such that the at least one anchor is configured to deploy outside of the epidural space when the at least one contact is positioned adjacent to a target location inside the epidural space; and
at least one marker visible in fluoroscopy imaging to identify a location of the at least one anchor outside of the epidural space.
