26. An electromagnetic tomographic scanner for use in imaging a human head, comprising:
a base;
an imaging chamber, supported on the base, that defines an imaging domain in which a human head is received;
a plurality of antennas, arranged in at least one ring, that are supported by the imaging chamber and encircle the imaging domain; and
a plurality of antenna controllers, each dedicated to a respective antenna in the at least one ring of antennas;
wherein each of the plurality of antennas simultaneously receives an electromagnetic signal after passing through the imaging domain, and the corresponding antenna controller for each respective antenna measures the electromagnetic signal respectively received at such antenna simultaneously with the measurement of the electromagnetic signals received at the other antennas of the plurality of antennas.
