1. A method of manufacturing a shoe, the method comprising:
manufacturing a first material layer with a first plurality of protrusions;
manufacturing a flexible layer with a plurality of apertures;
positioning the flexible layer onto the first material layer, such that each protrusion of the first plurality of protrusions of the first material layer extends through at least one aperture of the plurality of apertures of the flexible layer; and
manufacturing a second material layer such that the second material layer is connected to a protrusion of the first plurality of protrusions of the first material layer and the second material layer is integrally formed with the first material layer,
wherein the flexible layer is configured to move between the first material layer and the second material layer.
