1. A method of monitoring radio channels that transmit intermittent messages containing voice content, using a radio receiver connected to a network audio feed terminal that is connected to the Internet, and providing selective notifications through the Internet using the TCP/IP protocol suite to client terminals when discrete messages containing useful information have been received, the method comprising the steps of:
defining at least a first keyword having a correlation with useful information;
defining message transcription selection criteria;
receiving a radio channel, which transmits intermittent messages containing voice content, by the radio receiver according to a channel identity;
upon receiving a discrete message that satisfies the transcription selection criteria, storing information about the discrete message at a first Internet protocol address, and transcribing voice content therein into textual data by a transcription processor that is accessed through the Internet, and storing the voice content of the discrete message, a time of transmission, and the channel identity of the radio channel at a second Internet protocol address;
comparing the textual data with the at least a first keyword by a comparison processor, and upon identifying a correlation therebetween,
sending a notification through the Internet to a client terminal, which includes the second Internet protocol address containing information about the discrete message and including the voice content, and
recalling, by the client terminal, the voice content of the discrete message according to the second Internet protocol address.
