1. A camera for pre-drowning and drowning detection in an underwater environment, the camera comprising:
a controller configured to:
in an image of a plurality of images captured by the camera, detect a human body;
in the plurality of images, track the human body;
based on a first subset of the plurality of images, the tracking and a predefined set of rules, determine whether or not the human body is suspicious of undergoing a pre-drowning event or a drowning event; and
based on a second subset of images, the tracking and the predefined set of rules, determine whether or not the human body is undergoing the pre-drowning event or the drowning event.
