1. An apparatus for thermal mitigation, comprising:
at least one memory; and
at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
obtain a temperature associated with a vehicle;
obtain a plurality of thermal mitigation levels for the vehicle, wherein a first thermal mitigation level of the plurality of thermal mitigation levels is associated with a transition of a first communication function of one or more communication functions from the vehicle to a user device and a first temperature threshold, and wherein a second thermal mitigation level of the plurality of thermal mitigation levels is associated with a transition of a second communication function of the one or more communication functions from the vehicle to the user device and a second temperature threshold, the second temperature threshold being greater than the first temperature threshold;
determine the temperature is associated with the first thermal mitigation level from the plurality of thermal mitigation levels based on the temperature being greater than the first temperature threshold and less than the second temperature threshold; and
in response to a determination that the temperature is associated with the first thermal mitigation level, transition the first communication function from a communication unit of the vehicle to a communication unit of the user device.
