1. A display device comprising:
a liquid crystal display panel provided with a plurality of pixels;
a light source provided with a plurality of light emission points and configured to emit light to the plurality of pixels;
an acquirer configured to acquire viewpoint information of a user viewing the liquid crystal display panel; and
a controller configured to control image display on a basis of the viewpoint information,
wherein
the light source has a surface light source with a light emission surface that emits light, and a light-shielding member covering the light emission surface that emits light,
the light-shielding member has holes through which light from the light source passes, each of the holes corresponding to a respective one of the light emission points,
the viewpoint information includes information related to positions of a plurality of viewpoints and information indicating an arrangement direction of the plurality of viewpoints,
the controller is configured to perform display drive of some or all of pixels positioned on straight lines each connecting a corresponding one of the light emission points to a corresponding one of the viewpoints on a basis of a relative rotation angle between the liquid crystal display panel and the arrangement direction and a relative positional relation between the viewpoints and the light emission points, the some or all of pixels included in the plurality of pixels,
the plurality of light emission points are individually switchable between a turned-on state and a turned-off state, and
a first pitch of the plurality of light emission points arranged in a predetermined direction is smaller than a second pitch of some of the light emission points in the predetermined direction, the some of the light emission points controlled to be turned on when outputting an individual image to each of the plurality of viewpoints.
