1. A system, comprising:
a computing device comprising a processor and a memory; and
a first application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, causes the computing device to at least:
identify a device fingerprint;
create a signed claim that asserts that the device fingerprint identifies a client device controlled by an authorized user account;
generate a decentralized identifier (DID) associated with the device fingerprint for the computing device, wherein the DID is linked to the signed claim identifying an authorized user; and
generate a DID document with the signed claim associated with the DID.
