11. A computing-implemented method, comprising:
receiving messages with time information for a network;
generating, by a clock manager, clock manager control information to adjust a clock to a network time for the network;
receiving, by a detector, the clock manager control information;
generating, by a clock manager estimator of the detector, model control information based on a clock manager model comprising an analytical model representing a behavior of the clock manager,
comparing, by the detector, the clock manager control information with the model control information to generate difference information; and
determining, by the detector, whether to generate an alert based on the difference information.
