1. A soft anchor assembly, comprising:
a tubular sleeve made of a flexible material, the tubular sleeve including a first open end and a second open end; and
a flexible strand configured to pass through the tubular sleeve and extend beyond the first open end and the second open end, the flexible strand including:
a first plurality of barbs,
a second plurality of barbs, and
a region without any barbs, the region being located between the first plurality of barbs and the second plurality of barbs,
wherein the first plurality of barbs and the second plurality of barbs are angled outward toward the region without any barbs.
