1. A light detecting device, comprising:
a first pixel unit, comprising:
first, second, third, and fourth photoelectric conversion regions;
first, second, third, and fourth on-chip lenses corresponding to the first, second, third, and fourth photoelectric conversion regions, respectively; and
a second pixel unit comprising:
fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth photoelectric conversion regions;
a single fifth on-chip lens corresponding to at least one of the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth photoelectric conversion regions;
wherein the fifth on-chip lens has a larger diameter than at least one of the first, second, third, and fourth on-chip lenses.
