1. An inhomogeneous dielectric medium high-speed signal trace system, comprising:
a circuit board;
a first ground layer that is included in the circuit board;
a second ground layer that is included in the circuit board;
a first dielectric layer that is included in the circuit board adjacent the first ground layer, that includes a first thickness, and that has a first dielectric constant;
a second dielectric layer that is included in the circuit board between the first dielectric layer and the second ground layer, that includes a second thickness that is greater than the first thickness, and that has a second dielectric constant that is different than the first dielectric constant; and
a first differential trace pair that is included in the circuit board between the first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer, that includes a trace spacing that is less than or equal to the first thickness, and that is configured to transmit signals and, in response, produce a magnetic field, wherein the trace spacing of the first differential trace pair prevents a magnetic field strength of the magnetic field from exceeding a magnetic field strength threshold at a component that is located adjacent the first differential trace pair.
