1. A communication method in a communication network comprising a plurality of nodes, the method comprising, at at- least one node included in the plurality of nodes and configured to perform communications based on Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA):
receiving a predetermined parameter from another node included in the plurality of nodes;
receiving a trigger frame from the another node included in the plurality of nodes, the trigger frame reserving a transmission opportunity on at least one communication channel included in the communication network and designating resource units, forming the communication channel;
transmitting, responsive to the trigger frame, data using a resource unit designated by said another node; and
in response to the data being successfully transmitted using the resource unit, performing control so as not to perform a communication based on the EDCA for a predetermined time period in a case where a value of the predetermined parameter received from the another node is a predetermined value.
