1. An oven-controlled crystal oscillator comprising: a core section; and a thermal insulation package in which the core section is hermetically encapsulated, wherein
the core section includes at least: an oscillation integrated circuit (IC); a piezoelectric resonator; and a heater integrated circuit (IC),
the core section is mounted on a flexible substrate that is mechanically connected to the thermal insulation package by a bonding material,
the core section and the thermal insulation package are electrically connected to each other by wire bonding, and
a space is provided between the flexible substrate and a bottom surface of the thermal insulation package.
