1. A gaming chip recognition system in a casino having a plurality of gaming tables, the gaming chip recognition system comprising:
a recording device configured to record respective images as respective progress of one or more games of a plurality of games played at one gaming table of the plurality of gaming tables, and
a control device configured to perform image analysis on the respective images to recognize respective positions and number of gaming chips wagered on the one gaming table of the plurality of gaming tables by one or more players in the respective games of the one or more games of the plurality of games,
wherein:
the control device is configured to use artificial intelligence or machine learning techniques to recognize at least one of the position and the number of the gaming chips,
the recording device has an offset viewing angle from which a plurality of betting areas can be captured, wherein the recording device is configured to recognize the positions and number of the gaming chips wagered by the one or more players,
the respective gaming chips has an ID, and
the gaming chip recognition system further comprises an ID reading system configured to read the ID of one or more gaming chips on the gaming table.
