1. A selection device that, when an operator inputs selection information, selects a motor, and an amplifier based on the selection information, the selection information including a number and conditions related to performance of the motor, the selection device comprising:
a storage unit configured to store the performance of the motor for each of a plurality of motors, and store, for each of a plurality of amplifiers, at least one of a number of control axes, a price, or an installation space of the amplifier, and the performance of the motor drivable by the amplifier;
an input unit with which the operator inputs the selection information;
a motor selection unit configured to, by referring to the storage unit, select the motor satisfying the conditions;
an amplifier selection unit configured to, by referring to the storage unit, select one or more of the plurality of amplifiers to drive the number of the motor satisfying the conditions, in a manner so as to minimize a total number of installations, a total price, or a total installation space of the amplifier; and
a display unit configured to display the motor that has been selected and the amplifier that has been selected.
